Namhoon August Lee, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Finance at Benedictine University. He teaches various courses in finance including Principles of Finance, Derivatives, Financial Management and Fixed Income while researching in the area of investment and foreign exchange markets. He has published papers in Economic Letters, International Review of Finance, Journal of Accounting and Finance, International Journal of Finance and International Journal of Accounting and Business Finance.
Before he entered higher education, Dr. Lee worked for Samsung Life Insurance before worked as a Foreign Exchange Market analyst at International Business Times. He also worked as an independent Forecasting Analyst for American Foundry Society.
Dr. Lee holds a PhD in Finance and a MS in Finance from Illinois Institute of Technology, MBA degree in International Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a BS degree in Physics from Korea University.
