- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
- Students with an undergraduate GPA of 2.5 to 2.9 will be considered for conditional admission based on other aspects of their admissions file.

Admission Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements may be admitted on a provisional basis, and may be required to provide graduate exam scores.
- Students are eligible to enroll in a certificate program if they have an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements may be admitted on a provisional basis.

Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.)
Admission Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (B.S.N.) from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.750 on a 4.000 scale
- Proof of license as a registered nurse (RN) in the United States.
- Official sealed transcripts from any and all previously attended colleges and universities
- One letter of recommendation from a professional reference who is familiar with the applicant's competence in the practice of nursing and potential for successful graduate education
- Resume detailing your professional work experience
- Statement of Goals
- Maximum of two pages describing goals and rationale for pursuing a master's degree in nursing. Must also include past nursing experiences that have prepared you to pursue a new role following completion of the program.
- Proficiency in word processing, email and library online searches.
- A score on the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) in accordance with the Graduate Catalog policy for those applicants where English is not their primary language.

- Accepted students must meet health and safety requirements including selected immunizations and screening tests, CPR certification, flu shot, and health insurance. Additional requirements may be necessary as specified by the agency at which the clinical experiences are conducted. Documentation is submitted to a Department of Nursing and Health designated vendor. A one-time fee of $35 is paid by the student upon activation of the document tracking account. Submission and approval of required documentation must be completed in accordance with established dates.
Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) in Executive Leadership
Admission Requirements:
- Master of Science or higher degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) calculated for master’s and/or higher degree in nursing program coursework.
- Official sealed transcripts from the institution where the highest degree in nursing was conferred.
- Proof of an unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the U.S.
- Minimum of two years of full-time work experience as a registered nurse in a health care setting.
- Two letters of recommendation from persons who hold a doctoral degree (preferred) or M.S.N. degree and can address the academic, communication and professional skills of the applicant.
- Current curriculum vitae or resume.
- Completion of a purpose statement that reflects scholarly professional writing, prior leadership experience and the identification of a potential practice project (500 words).
- An interview with the graduate program director or designated faculty.
- Completion of the clinical practice verification form.

RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Admission Requirements:
- You must be an RN with an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing, have an Associate of Science in Nursing degree, or be pursuing an associate degree and have completed the first year of coursework.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities
- 86 designated semester credit hours documented by official college transcripts.
- Completion of the first year of an associate's in nursing coursework or degree conferral
- Completion of all prerequisite coursework prior to enrolling in Benedictine nurse cohort courses and/or an approved academic plan finalized with the academic advisor within one month of notification of program admission.
- Basic skills in word processing, internet use, and email communication.
- For cohort program admission, a copy of Nursing License is required
