    • Students with an undergraduate GPA of 2.5 to 2.9 will be considered for conditional admission based on other aspects of their admissions file.

Master of Public Health (M.P.H.)

Admission Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
    • Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements may be admitted on a provisional basis.
    • Students are eligible to enroll in a certificate program if they have an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75. Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements may be admitted on a provisional basis.
  • GRE Score
    • ​Waivers available:
      • Applicants may be eligible to wavier the graduate exam requirement based on their undergraduate cumulative GPA.
      • Applicants who already possess a master's, PhD, or other advanced degree are eligible to request a GRE waiver.
      • All graduate entrance exam waiver requests are reviewed on an individual basis.

Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.)

Admission Requirements:

  • You must have an earned bachelor's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
  • Be licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the United States.
  • Official transcripts from any and all previously attended colleges and universities
  • One letter of recommendation from professional references
  • Resume detailing your professional work experience
  • Statement of Goals
    • Maximum of two pages describing goals and rationale for pursuing a master's degree in nursing. Must also include past nursing experiences that have prepared you to pursue a new role following completion of the program.
  • Proficiency in word processing, email and library online searches.
  • Complete the Student Success Strategies Orientation Exercises.
  • A score on the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) in accordance with the Graduate Catalog policy for those applicants where English is not their primary language.

    • Accepted students must meet health and safety requirements including selected immunizations and screening tests, CPR certification, flu shot, and health insurance. Additional requirements may be necessary as specified by the agency at which the clinical experiences are conducted. Documentation is submitted to a Department of Nursing and Health designated vendor. A one-time fee of $35 is paid by the student upon activation of the document tracking account. Submission and approval of required documentation must be completed in accordance with established dates.

Master of Science in Nutrition and Wellness

    Admission Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university
    • Completed prerequisites (with a grade of C or better)
      • Physiology (requires principles of biology as a prerequisite). A single combined anatomy and physiology course will count towards this requirement.
      • Basic nutrition at the 200 level or greater
      • A basic course in research principles is recommended
    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale

    • Two letters of recommendation from professional references
    • Resume detailing your professional work experience
    • Statement of Intent

      Bachelor of Arts in Management

      RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing

      Admission Requirements:

      • You must be an RN with an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing, have an Associate of Science in Nursing degree, or be pursuing an associate degree and have completed the first year of coursework.
      • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 
      • Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities
      • 83 designated semester credit hours documented by official college transcripts.
      • Completion of the first year of an associate's in nursing coursework or degree conferral
        • Completion of all prerequisite coursework prior to enrolling in Benedictine nurse cohort courses and/or an approved academic plan finalized with the academic advisor within one month of notification of program admission.
      • Basic skills in word processing, internet use, and email communication.
      • For cohort program admission, a copy of Nursing License is required

      Economic Hardship Application Fee Waiver Program

      Benedictine has established the Economic Hardship Application Fee Waiver program to assist applicants that are financially burdened by the application fee for an online program. Interested applicants are encouraged to contact their program manager for details.
