Dual MBA/MPH Degree Program Online

The dual Master of Business Administration/Master of Public Health (MBA/MPH) online degree program aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to be a leader in public health.

Graduates of the dual degree program will complete the online Master of Business Administration and the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accredited Master of Public Health in less time than it would take to finish each degree individually.

How Does the MBA/MPH Online Dual Degree Program Work?

Students in the dual degree program must be accepted into both degree programs. You will first complete one degree program in its entirety and then begin courses for the second degree. Upon completion of your studies you will earn two diplomas.

The program is completed in just 24 courses (21 courses with 3 MBA foundation courses waived), as opposed to the 33 courses that would be required taking each degree separately.

Intern With Your Current Organization

We understand that returning to school, managing a full-time career and an internship can be a heavy workload. If you are already working in your desired field, however, you can complete your internship with your current employer as long as you meet the following requirements:

  • You’ll be engaged in activities that are not a part of your regular job.
  • Your employer will guarantee that the required clock hours for the internship don’t overlap with those you’re already compensated for under your current employment contract.
  • There will be a qualified preceptor (master’s degree trained personnel in a public health related field) within the place of employment who can oversee the internship experience.
