Upon successful completion of NRHL 5501, you will be able to:
- Describe the role of the professional nurse as member and leader of interprofessional healthcare teams.
- Apply principles and analyze barriers to effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution to an intra or interprofessional conflict scenario.
- Examine leadership skills to analyze and address barriers to effective collaboration within the context of a team assignment.
- Explore theories to guide health promotion practice.
- Design community focused, culturally responsive strategies in the delivery of health promotion, and discuss the role of the Master’s nurse as educator and advocate.
