Military Scholarship

10% savings per semester credit hour

Benedictine University shows gratitude to service members by offering a Military Scholarship. This scholarship awards 10% savings per semester credit hour to active-duty and veteran service members attending an online program. To qualify, please provide a copy of your DD214 or an official confirmation of your military status. Visit our military students page to learn more.

Alumni Scholarship

25% savings per semester credit hour

If you graduated from Benedictine University and want to return, you may be eligible for a discount. This scholarship awards 25% savings per semester credit hour to prospective students who attained a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree from Benedictine University (excluding dual-degree program graduate students).

Corporate Partnership Scholarship

25% savings per semester credit hour

Select organizations are working with Benedictine University to help you advance your education and career in an affordable, timely way. This scholarship awards 25% savings per semester credit hour to prospective students working for an identified corporate partner. We also offer a $3,000 scholarship for eligible online RN to B.S.N. students. Speak with your employer or admissions counselor to determine if your employer is a partner of Benedictine.

Not-for-Profit Scholarship

10% savings per semester credit hour

Eligible employees of nonprofit institutions and organizations may earn their degrees for a reduced price. This scholarship awards 10% savings per semester credit hour to prospective students who work for an organization that holds 501(c) or 501(c)(3) designation. To qualify, you must provide proof of employment and your employer’s nonprofit status.

  • All scholarships are mutually exclusive.  An individual who meets multiple criteria for scholarships is not able to combine, stack or receive more than one scholarship offer for their chosen program. Benedictine University reserves the right to approve or deny scholarships for any reason. To confirm scholarship discounts and program details, please consult an admissions counselor at onlinedegrees@ben.edu. Information presented may be revised without notice. 
  • Scholarships are non-transferable and can only be applied toward billed tuition cost of eligible Benedictine University students. Scholarships cannot be redeemed for cash, goods or other services, nor can they be applied to another student or degree program. 
  • Benedictine University awards Institutional Scholarships to all incoming freshman and transfer students each year in merit scholarships and need-based grants on an annual basis. These merit scholarships and need-based grants are automatically awarded upon completion of an application through the Admissions and Financial Aid offices.
