Work closely with your admissions counselor to gather the required documents for your program, such as references and transcripts. The admission requirements vary — visit your program of interest to learn everything to include with your application.

Transfer Students

Transfer Your Credits to Benedictine

Benedictine University wants you to get credit for your previous college experience. We’ll work with you to transfer eligible credits to our online degree programs, enabling you to save time and money as you finish your degree. As you plan to begin an online program, it’s important to:

  • Visit your program of interest to learn how many credits you can transfer
  • Be sure to submit your application and transcripts soon so we can evaluate whether your prior coursework will transfer to our online degree programs
  • Request information to discuss your transfer eligibility with an admissions counselor

Do you plan to transfer from a Benedictine University campus program to an online degree program? You will need to complete an interview with an admissions counselor, be in good academic standing, complete the required admissions transfer forms and speak with your campus academic advisor.

Benedictine University’s online programs enable you to earn a degree from a respected American university without leaving home. After completing your program, you’ll have abundant opportunities for networking with other professionals through our alumni association and online directory of graduates. Some of the admission requirements include:

  • Foreign Transcript Evaluation: A three-year bachelor’s degree program must be deemed equivalent to a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree program by Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), World Education Services (WES) or Educational Perspectives to qualify for admission to a graduate program.
  • English Language Proficiency: International students applying to graduate programs must meet set requirements on a proficiency exam. Visit your program of interest for the minimum scores.
