In a recent survey, our online M S N alumni stated that they were overwhelmingly satisfied with their experience which started in the online classroom and continues into their professional careers.</p> <p>The Program</p> <p>The main reasons students picked Benedictines Online M S N Program were due to the schools established reputation, online flexibility, and peer recommendation.</p> <p>The Online Student Experience</p> <p>91 percent of students would recommend Benedictine to a prospective student. 96 percent of students were satisfied as an online student. 44 percent of students spent 11 to 20 hours per week on coursework - the average being 2.2 hours per day.</p> <p>Preparation</p> <p>Benedictine prepared students to gain an in-depth knowledge of the field, develop career expertise, develop global awareness, and be an effective leader.</p> <p>Skills</p> <p>The skills taught throughout the program include: clinical experience, patient care, treatment planning, nurse management, patient/family education and instruction, case management, and patient direction. These are also the top skills most in demand from employers.</p> <p>M S N Career Outlook</p> <p>The following is a listing of the top jobs for M S N graduates in the US: Registered Nurse - there are 421592 jobs available with an average salary of 66316 dollars; Intensive Critical Care Nurse - there are 43043 jobs available with an average salary of 74596 dollars; Nursing Manager Supervisor - there are 28364 jobs available with an average salary of 72612 dollars; Director of Nursing - there are 26797 jobs available with an average salary of 79807 dollars; Nurse Care Manager - there are 17792 jobs available with an average salary of 68818 dollars; and, Health Educator - 12750 jobs available with an average salary of 54304 dollars.</p> <p>Benedictine M S N Alumni in Action</p> <p>Benedictines online M S N graduates work in a variety of nursing areas: 31 percent in nurse education, 26 percent in clinical nursing, and 18 percent in administrative nursing. Some M S N Alumni job titles that are now hiring include: Advanced Clinical Nurse, Clinical Instructor, Patient Care Manager, Nurse Educator for Acute Care, Clinical Nurse Educator, Assistant Director, Clinical Coordinator, and Associate Administrator for Clinical Services.</p> <p>95 percent of M S N Alumni say the online M S N program at Benedictine prepared them for their current career. 23 percent got a new job. 52 percent had increased confidence in the workplace. 31 percent have already received a salary increase.
