Communication skills are the mark of a good leader. Effectively using these skills brings people together to achieve positive outcomes, whether in the boardroom or in the patient room.

In NRHL 620, Effective Communication and Relationships, you’ll examine effective communication strategies to lead others and address nursing, interdisciplinary and organizational barriers, issues and conflicts. The importance of relationship-building across various health care settings is emphasized.

Weekly discussions on relevant topics in health care, such as cross-cultural communication and civility in the workplace, allow you to share your knowledge and gain insights from fellow classmates and your instructor.
