Pam Koob, Ph.D., M.S.N., RN, FNP-BC

Dr. Pam Koob is a nurse practitioner and a nurse educator with over 10 years’ experience teaching online and 30 years’ experience in face-to-face classrooms. She has taught undergraduate, graduate, and DNP courses, with a focus on research, theory, management, health assessment and evidence based practice. She has been a leader in RN to BSN education. Dr. Koob has had her own practice as an NP for over 7 years. In addition to teaching and practice, Dr. Koob’s research and clinical interests focus on women’s health and phenomenology. She has presented at both national and international conferences and published in peer reviewed journals. When teaching full-time, Dr. Koob served on many university committees. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Academy of Nurses Practitioners, and the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives.
