Discover how to protect the environment and those within it.

Format: Online
Duration: 8 weeks

Environmental health issues are at the forefront of public awareness. Climate change has been scientifically proven and is showing its effects in the form of severe weather conditions, with devastating results. As environmental health issues grow, so does the need for sophisticated measures to deal with whatever the environment has in store. Not only are today's health care professionals learning how to treat environmental situations, they are intent on preventing them.

When discussing the evolution of environmental problems and concerns, you'll explore water and air pollution during the 1970s, toxic waste during the 1980s, recycling during the 1990s and global warming and global environmental health issues of the 2000s. Informative videos will bring the issues to life and governmental literature will illustrate the vast number of programs in place to educate, treat and prevent potential environmental situations.
